Everybody Needs a Spiritual Home
.
Vision – Peace is an opportunity where some people meet God. Through creative worship, arts and science, service to those in need, education and justice advocacy, we imaginatively embody the transforming love of God through Christ. For us God is vast (beyond ideas and concepts) so we welcome mystical dimensions of faith; because we take the biblical Word to heart we engage prophetic social justice edges..
We are an inclusive community: We affirm the earthy goodness of Creation. We delight in interfaith dialogue/prayer/celebration. We insist on the company of global partners. We enspirit the world with Christ’s crucified and resurrecting compassion. As an RIC (Reconciling in Christ) congregation we welcome persons of all sexual orientations. We are home for the Peace Counseling Center. We have gifted the community with a Labyrinth for meditation and prayer. We must live by the love of what we will never see! – for “no eye has seen and no ear has heard what God has in store for those who love God.”
